Qualifications

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and donors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and per established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital foundation offices, public areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
