Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking an overnight security guard to observe and report activities at a client site, patrol the premises, and help ensure the safety of people and property.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 2300–0700. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid NYS Security Guard License, a valid driver’s license, and English communication skills. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and preserve order.
• Patrols to monitor premises and enforce site regulations and directives.
• Completes reports by recording observations and informations and interviewing witnesses.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 2300-0700

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
