The role requires patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, and completing detailed reports. Valid NYS Security Guard License and a valid driver’s license are mandatory, with English proficiency and physical fitness essential for daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Friday and Saturday 2300-0700 (16 HRS)

Thursday-Saturday 2300-0700 (24 HRS)

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.
