Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a security guard to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, protecting people and property. The role involves periodic tours, standing for long periods, and enforcing site regulations for staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma or GED, a valid NYS Security Guard License, and a valid drivers license, with strong English communication skills. Schedule: Tue-Fri 07:30–17:00.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License is required.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Tuesday-Friday 0730-1700

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.
