Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a Security Officer to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, ensuring the safety of property and personnel while enforcing site rules. The role requires standing for the majority of the workday and regular shift coverage on weekends.

Qualifications include at least 18 years old and a valid NYS Security Guard License, with exceptional customer service and the ability to verbally de-escalate situations.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Friday - Monday 3pm to 11pm

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be available to work weekends
