Job summary

Doyle Security Services is hiring a security guard to observe and report activities at client sites, conduct periodic patrols, and enforce site regulations. The role requires standing for long periods and being able to communicate in English.

NYS Security Guard License and a valid driver's license are required. Schedule includes nights and weekends: Wednesday 23:59–08:00, Friday and Saturday 16:00–00:00, and Monday/Tuesday 08:00–16:00.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• NYS Security Guard License required.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Wednesday 2359 - 0800, Friday & Saturday 1600-000 & Monday, Tuesday 0800 -1600

Pay Range

Starting from USD $20.00/Hr.
