Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to observe and report activities at client sites, protect premises, and ensure safety of personnel. The role involves standing for long periods and following site regulations.

Shifts run across multiple schedules, including weekends, with a starting pay of USD 18.00 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling, reporting incidents, and ensuring access control.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.

Responsibilities

• Patrols to report irregularities and enforce site policies.
• Secures premises by patrolling, monitoring cameras, and inspecting access points.
• Completes reports with observations and witnesses; obtains signatures.
• Performs tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturday-Wednesday 6AM-2PM

Saturday-Wednesday 6AM-2PM

Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM

Tuesday-Saturday 10PM-6AM

Thursday - Monday 10PM-6AM

Friday -Tuesday 10PM-6AM

Wednesday-Sunday 2PM-10PM

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid drivers license & reliable transportation
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
