Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a vigilant security guard to cover client sites across our network. The role emphasizes on-site patrols, incident reporting, and ensuring safety for people and property.

Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Open availability and ability to stand for long shifts are required. This position offers per diem opportunities and may require travel between sites as needed.

Overview

Must be able to travel to numerous sites. No set shifts or schedule. Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Pay Range

Up to USD $21.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Valid Driver's License Reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Military experience a plus.
