Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a Security Officer to protect client property and personnel across multiple sites in Florida. This role requires standing for long periods and traveling to various locations as needed. No set shifts; per-diem schedule.

Must hold a Florida Class D Security Guard License, be at least 21, and have a high school diploma or GED. Strong English communication and reliable performance are essential.

• Complete reports documenting observations and incidents, and obtain signatures.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Must be able to travel to numerous sites. No set shifts or schedule. Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Up to USD $18.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Class D Security Guard License
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum High School Diploma / GED
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position Must be able to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends Customer Service Experience is required
