Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a floater security officer to observe and report activities at a client site, protecting property and personnel. The role requires standing most of the shift and performing patrols, checks of access points, and surveillance monitoring.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, interviewing witnesses when needed, and completing reports. You must hold a NY State Security Guard License and be at least 21, with strong English communication and basic

• Must have Valid NY State Security Guard License.
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Technical working knowledge of building systems.
• Protective security experience a plus

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Up to USD $19.46/Hr.

• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• MUST have Valid NY State Security Guard License.
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field. (Preferred not required)
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
