Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security guard to observe and report activities at client sites, patrol premises, and enforce site regulations. The role requires standing for long periods and clear bilingual communication in English and Spanish.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 0700-1500 with a pay rate up to USD 22.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience and U.S. work history may be required (5–7 years).
• Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish, in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and inform violators of policy.
• Secure premises by patrolling and monitoring access points.
• Complete reports documenting observations and incidents.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform tasks as assigned.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 0700-1500 (40 HRS)

Pay Range

Up to USD $22.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Class D Florida Security Guard License
• Must be able to understand the English and Spanis language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
