Strategic Security Corp. is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard for weekend and evening coverage in the Washington, PA area.

Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring alarms and CCTV, access control, incident reporting, and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Unarmed Security Guard License may be required by state/local law.
• Must pass state licensing tests for company- or client-provided vehicles.
• Verifiable work history required.
• One year of security experience recommended.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow post orders and company procedures.
• Proficient basic computer skills (e.g., report writing, MS Office).
• Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions.
• High attention to detail and observational skills.
• Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Proactive, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assigned.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all times.
