Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time in Elgin, IL to protect clients across financial institutions and other sites. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, deter incidents, and provide friendly, professional service to employees and visitors.

You will document incidents, monitor access, and respond to alarms, coordinating with site contacts. This on-site role offers daytime/evening shifts and a competitive pay rate with benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and parking.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting arrivals and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies in a professional, calm manner.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports for leadership.
