Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in Plainfield, IL. You will patrol facilities, provide exceptional customer service, monitor access, and document observations using tablets.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $20.22 per hour and a Wednesday–Sunday evening schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted per applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Verify credentials and monitor access, including deliveries and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Prepare clear activity, incident, and shift reports with observations from patrols.
