Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect client property and personnel at a Miami Beach site. The role involves patrolling, monitoring, reporting incidents, and enforcing site rules.

The position requires standing for long periods, effective communication in English and Spanish, and availability for a Wednesday–Sunday schedule, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, with compensation up to $17/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Florida Class D Security Guard License.
• 5–7 years US work history may be required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at client site to ensure safety and security.
• Patrol premises, monitor surveillance, and control access points.
• Complete incident reports and follow directives from supervision.
• Maintain professionalism and stand for extended periods.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Wednesday - Sunday from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Pay Range

Up to USD $17.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Class D Florida Security Guard License
• Must be able to understand the English and Spanis language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
