Job summary

Allied Universal in Goleta, CA is seeking an unarmed Security Officer with an active DoD Secret Clearance to patrol facilities, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service at an aerospace and defense site.

This full-time position offers daytime and night shifts, a pay rate of $25.75 per hour, and benefits including retirement savings, health, dental and vision coverage, as well as career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and follow site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly per protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, report irregularities to leadership.
• Prepare reports and clearly communicate patrol findings.
