Allied Universal in Goleta, CA is seeking an unarmed Security Officer with an active DoD Secret Clearance to patrol facilities, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service at an aerospace and defense site.

This full-time position offers daytime and night shifts, a pay rate of $25.75 per hour, and benefits including retirement savings, health, dental and vision coverage, as well as career growth opportunities.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Clearance Eligible in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report irregularities or suspicious conditions to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication regarding patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
