Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Clearance Eligible in Goleta, CA. You will safeguard clients across industries, performing access control, patrols, and customer service at an aerospace/defense site, while reflecting the company’s values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required, with a full-time schedule and a pay rate of $25.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace/defense site, following security procedures and emergency response plans.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, with proper reporting and escalation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, visitors, deliveries, and contractors per site requirements.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
