Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in New York, NY. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors at a media and technology location.

The role requires you to handle security procedures, respond to incidents, and maintain clear communication with client representatives and leadership. A background check and drug screen are part of the process, with driving position requirements

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a media and publishing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office floors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain accurate records of visitors and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following escalation procedures.
• Communicate professionally with client representatives, building personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security concerns and updates.
