Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, students, faculty, staff, and contractors while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and access points and report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and document activities.
• Prepare clear reports and coordinate with leadership and site contacts.
