Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Roanoke Rapids, NC. You will patrol manufacturing and industrial locations, monitor access points, and provide customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state or locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, loading areas, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and direct authorized personnel as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and document observations and actions.
• Complete shift logs and liaise with supervision and site leadership.
