Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Ladson, SC to protect clients across automotive facilities. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and security.

The role requires a valid driver’s license; daytime and night shifts are available. Pay is $17.50 per hour with benefits including health insurance, 401k, paid training, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check and drug screen are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor/contractor access records.
• Respond to incidents and escalate per procedures in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Deter unauthorized access by monitoring restricted areas and reporting suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols of facility entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
