Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time – Unarmed in Ladson, SC. The role involves managing badge access, monitoring entry points, patrolling, and delivering exceptional customer service at an automotive facility.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions; position includes benefits and career growth opportunities. The schedule includes night shifts: Tue–Sun with various 11:00 PM–07:00 AM blocks.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive facility, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring restricted areas, controlling access to designated locations, and reporting suspicious activity to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

What You’ll Do:
