Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Scottsdale, AZ to safeguard clients across industries. Pay rate is $21.00 per hour, with multiple shifts available including full-time and part-time roles.

Ideal candidates have 12+ months security experience, Arizona license, and the ability to patrol, report, and communicate effectively. The role requires standing/walking, outdoor work, and flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of security experience.
• Arizona driver’s license for over one year with a clean driving record
• Valid guard card/security officer license if required by Arizona DPS
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and conduct regular patrols
• Work Outside in the Elements
• Basic ability to use computers, radios, cameras, access-control systems, and incident-reporting software
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, visitor records, and other required
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, or rotating shifts may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments vary by client site
