Tulsa City-County Library is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to safeguard staff, customers, and library property across multiple locations. This 40-hour-per-week role involves patrolling interiors and exteriors, monitoring with cameras, and responding promptly to emergencies while enforcing library rules.
Preferred candidates will have a CLEET Unarmed Security Officer License, at least two years in security, and strong interpersonal communication.

Tulsa City-County Library is looking for a motivated Security Officer who strives to deliver the highest quality of security and customer service to TCCL staff, customers and guests. Security officers ensure all proper procedures and rules are followed by monitoring and patrolling library property and responding to emergency situations.
This is a safety sensitive position.

40 hours / week
$16.25 - $19.47; Starting wage based on experience
40 hours a week: 5 days on 2 days off; 8 hour shifts

The work is generally physically comfortable, but occasionally requires stooping or bending. Occasional light lifting of materials (up to 20 pounds) may be required. There are occasional minor discomforts from exposure to less than optimal temperature and air conditions. The job may involve dealing with modestly unpleasant situations, such as working in a confined area for long periods of time, dealing with angry or unruly customers, occasional exposure to office chemicals and/or extensive use of video display terminals.
