Tulsa City-County Library is looking for an Unarmed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of staff and patrons while providing excellent customer service. The role requires conducting patrols, monitoring activities, and responding to emergencies.

Unarmed Security Officer - 30 hr. / week

$16.25 - $19.47 per hour, starting wage based on experience. Competitive pay and a full benefit package (medical, dental, 457(b), paid time off) are offered.
30 hours per week (5 days on, 2 days off). Requires evenings, weekends, and the ability to work multiple locations. A valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Work is generally physically comfortable, but occasionally requires stooping or bending. Occasional light lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. The job may involve dealing with modestly unpleasant situations, such as working in a confined area for long periods of time, dealing with angry or unruly customers, occasional exposure to office chemicals and extensive use of video display terminals, and exposure to less than optimal temperature and air conditions.
