Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring for a 2nd Shift - Unarmed Security Officer at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Troy, Missouri. The role includes guarding facilities, access control, and ensuring safety and compliance. The ideal candidate has security and customer service experience, is at least 21, physically fit, and able to stand for extended periods.

Schedule: Mon-Wed 1:00pm-9:00pm and Sat 5:00am-5:00pm (36 hours/week). Off Sundays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• Occasional physical tasks (crawling, climbing stairs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest/visitor access and eject trespassers when necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Log visitors and notify residents of arrivals.
• Assist in protecting people and equipment; enforce policies.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism or theft.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol interior/exterior to identify risks.
• Warn violators for infractions (loitering, prohibited items).
• Respond to distress calls and emergencies; contact responders.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Ensure accurate submission of required documents/reports.
• Enforce all rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
