Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Garden City, NY. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, observing and reporting hazards, and ensuring client and company post requirements are met. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Requirements include NY State Security License, HS diploma, and at least 1 year of security experience. This is a full-time, first/second shift position with week­ends and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have a New York State Security License.
• Must have one (1) year of experience as a security officer.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
