Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an attentive Unarmed Security Officer in Chicago to safeguard customers, employees, and visitors while delivering professional service. You will monitor access points and perform routine foot patrols, following client post instructions.

Strong written and verbal English communication, reliability, and a customer-service mindset are required. This role includes multiple shifts and both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to pass all necessary training
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screening and background investigation
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Active PERC and 20hr

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Be customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills, clear written and oral communication.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
