Job summary

Overview Enterprise Security Services Corporation is seeking dependable Unarmed Security Officers to serve communities in and around Mount Airy, MD. You will maintain a visible security presence at client sites and perform routine patrols to deter threats.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, de-escalating disturbances, assisting customers, staff and visitors, documenting daily activity, and reporting incidents promptly to management.

Qualifications

• Possess Maryland security guard certification or be eligible to obtain it.
• Meet Maryland's minimum age and eligibility standards for security work.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to travel to Mount Airy and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, dependable security presence at assigned locations.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas and report concerns promptly.
• Monitor and control access at entrances and key points.
• Provide courteous assistance to customers, staff, and visitors.
• De-escalate disputes and respond calmly to disturbances.
• Document daily activity and report incidents accurately.
• Communicate promptly with management and emergency services as needed.
