Job summary

Weiser Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets, personnel, customers and visitors at assigned sites. You will follow post orders, patrol as required, monitor access, and report incidents to the appropriate contacts.

The role requires vigilance, the ability to respond to emergencies, and adherence to company policies and local laws. This position may involve extended hours and long periods of standing.

Qualifications

• Observation and reporting of signs of crime or disorder.
• Preparation of daily reports and proper distribution.
• Ability to stand for long hours and work extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Protect the client’s interests within the facility limits and safeguard employees and visitors.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Prepare daily reports and submit to the proper contacts.
• Complete patrols as required by post orders.
• Monitor and control access to property per post orders.
• Notify authorities in emergencies as outlined in post orders.
• Report violations of company policy and laws per Employee Handbook.
• There may be additional responsibilities as requested by the client and post.

Job description

This position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and visitors to assigned sites.

Job Duties

1. Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.

2. Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.

3. Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts.

4. Complete patrols as required by post orders

5. Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.

6. Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.

7. Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.
