Job summary

Weiser Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security officer in Charlotte, NC to safeguard assets, personnel, customers and visitors at assigned sites. This role reports to the Account Manager or Branch Manager and involves patrolling, monitoring, and reporting incidents.

24 hours per week with opportunities to work additional shifts. The position requires standing for long periods and the ability to observe, report, and act on disturbances per post orders, ensuring client and site

Qualifications

• Proficient on computer for incidents and camera monitoring.
• Patrol building, dock areas, and parking deck (foot patrol).
• Protect client interests within facility limits and safeguard lives and property.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.
• Notify proper authorities in emergencies as outlined in post orders.
• Prepare daily incident reports and submit to designated contacts.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.

This position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and visitors to assigned sites.

Job Duties

1. Must be proficient on the computer for incidents and camera monitoring
2. Ability to patrol building & dock areas and park deck patrols (foot patrol)
3. Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
4. Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
5. Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts
6. Complete patrols as required by post orders
7. Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.
8. Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
9. Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.
