Marksman Security Corporation in Greenville, NC is hiring unarmed security officers for the 1st shift (9am–6pm), Monday through Friday. The role pays $18.25 per hour and involves protecting people and property while delivering friendly customer service and maintaining front desk logs.

Requirements include being 21+, 1+ year security experience, a valid driver’s license, a HS diploma or GED, and an NC PPSB license; ability to pass background checks and physical duties is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving history.
• NC PPSB Security License Required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
• Maintain front desk logs and document incidents.
• Control access for tenants, visitors, or vendors.
• Monitor cameras and conduct patrols to prevent theft and ensure safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; document data for management.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum one year of security experience required.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving history Required
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• NC PPSB Security License Required
• Able to pass pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi‑lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
