Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring security officers to provide excellent service at client sites. You will support visitors, maintain front desk logs, and manage access for tenants and vendors, while remaining vigilant on surveillance and patrols.

The role requires English proficiency, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read, write and understand English.
• Experience as door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to acquire/maintain Illinois PERC and complete state required training.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty and assist with directions.
• Maintain accurate logs at front desk for people and property, including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and patrol to prevent theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, recording data for management.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs., completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
