Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a front desk security professional to provide excellent customer service, manage logs, and control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors.

You will monitor cameras and patrols to prevent theft and respond to incidents, with opportunities for growth within the organization. Strong communication and physical fitness are essential, along with a background check and PERC compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience as a door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Comfortable around dogs and other pets.
• Able to acquire and maintain PERC and complete state training requirements.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Physically able to perform duties including lifting 50+ lbs and patrols.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
