Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for full-time, 2nd shift with weekend availability. Responsibilities include securing access control, patrolling, and providing customer service at client sites.

Candidates must be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, a valid Utah driver’s license, and be able to obtain a Utah Security License. Weekend shifts and 2nd shift experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid Utah Driver's License.
  • Able to obtain Utah Security License including required training.
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Able to meet physical essential functions (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols).

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
  • Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
  • Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
  • Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain safety.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies at the property and record data on incidents.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
  • Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
  • Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
  • Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to acquire and maintain a valid Utah Security License including state accredited training requirements
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • Bi-lingual considered a plus.
  • Weekend availability required.
