Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking a Security Officer in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves protecting property, assisting visitors, and maintaining a safe environment on-site.

Full time and part-time openings exist across multiple shifts. Candidates must meet basic qualifications and pass background and drug screening. Bi-lingual is a plus, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must have an Unarmed guard card.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Able to meet physical requirements, including lifting 50+ lbs and patrol duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
  • Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to deter theft.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies and document events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Full time and Part-time Openings, Multiple shifts available.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
  • Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications of Security Officers:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must have an Unarmed guard card
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:
  • Bi-lingual considered a plus.
  • Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
