Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a Guard Card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigations and drug screening are part of the process.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to resident concerns and incidents in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain awareness of conditions requiring attention.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications per site requirements.
