Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in Houston, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control and respond to security-related concerns, delivering outstanding customer service and a visible presence.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of facility areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points; verify credentials and manage entry and logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other security events following established protocols.
• Observe and report hazards or suspicious activity to site leadership.
