Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting in Houston, TX. You will monitor and protect government facilities, perform routine patrols, manage access control, and maintain clear communications with staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience required or preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a government aviation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document activities per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and assist with visitor management and traffic flow.
• Prepare accurate reports on incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities with professional communication to site personnel and responding agencies.
