Prosegur Security is hiring a hybrid Patrol / Control Desk Officer for a premier corporate campus in Fremont, CA. This dual-function role splits time between active physical foot patrols and managing the campus Control Desk—monitoring CCTV, managing automated alarms, handling post dispatching, and controlling access systems.

Shift schedules vary (day and grave shifts) and require proficiency with Lenel 9000, camera VMS, and alarm monitoring panels.

Qualifications

• Valid California Security Guard License required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of contract security experience.
• Tech-savvy with Lenel 9000, camera VMS, and alarm monitoring panels.
• Dispatch, SOC, or Control Desk experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically able to perform extended indoor/outdoor patrols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor multi-screen CCTV and alarms in real time.
• Manage access permissions and badge activity.
• Dispatch patrol officers and field personnel as needed.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols across the campus.
• Escalate incidents and communicate with site leadership.

Job Overview

Shift Schedule(s):

• Fri (3pm-11pm) & Sat-Tues (11pm-7am)
• Sat-Wed (3pm-11pm)
• Tues/Wed (7am-3pm) & Thur - Sat (3pm-11pm)

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:

• Control Desk Operations: Monitor multi-screen CCTV camera systems, respond to alarm panels, and operate the Lenel 9000 access control system in real time.
• Access & Badge Management: Process access permissions, manage badge activity, and process electronic access requests.
• Dispatch & Communications: Answer incoming calls from interior guard posts, site employees, and clients; dispatch patrol officers and field personnel accordingly.
• Active Physical Patrols: Conduct thorough interior and exterior foot patrols across campus facilities to identify safety hazards, security breaches, and policy violations.
• Incident Escalation & Reporting: Initiate formal emergency escalation procedures, notify site leadership during critical events, and generate detailed electronic incident reports.
• Customer Service: Maintain a professional, approachable demeanor while enforcing site security rules and assisting visitors and staff.

Qualifications & Critical Skill Sets:

• Valid California Security Guard License (Required).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of contract security experience.
• Tech-savvy with a strong willingness to learn and operate complex security platforms (Lenel 9000, camera VMS, and alarm monitoring panels).
• Dispatch, SOC, or Control Desk experience strongly preferred.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills; comfortable answering phones and managing multi-channel radio traffic.
• Physically able to conduct extended indoor/outdoor foot patrols in various weather conditions.
• Strict adherence to professional grooming and uniform standards (shirts tucked, neat presentation at all times).
