Job summary

Prosegur Security in Fremont, CA is hiring a hybrid Patrol / Control Desk Officer for a premier corporate campus. This dual-function role combines active foot patrols with monitoring the campus Control Desk— CCTV, alarms, access control, and dispatch duties.

Shift is Sunday–Thursday, 3pm–11pm. You will process access permissions, manage badges, respond to security incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors while enforcing campus policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Active Security License (Levels I–III) required.
• Ability to perform patrols and monitor CCTV and alarms.

Responsibilities

• Control Desk Operations: Monitor CCTV, respond to alarms, and operate the Lenel 9000 access control system in real time.
• Access & Badge Management: Process access permissions, manage badges, and handle electronic access requests.
• Dispatch & Communications: Answer calls from interior guard posts, site employees, and clients; dispatch patrol officers and field personnel accordingly.
• Active Physical Patrols: Conduct interior and exterior patrols to identify hazards, breaches, and policy violations; notify site leadership during critical events and generate detailed documentation.
• Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor while enforcing site security rules and assisting visitors and staff.

Job Overview

Prosegur Security is hiring a hybrid Patrol / Control Desk Officer for a premier corporate campus in Fremont, CA.
