Job summary

Cascadia Global Security (CGS) is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for St. Louis, MO. This role offers part-time or full-time employment with a Saturday-Sunday night shift.

The position pays $22.00 per hour and requires a TWIC card. Daily pay is available, with a mandatory 10-panel drug screening prior to on-site work. We seek responsible individuals who can pass a background check, maintain high professional standards, and contribute to a safe environment for clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Capable of handling stressful situations and emergencies.
• TWIC card requirement and willingness to obtain if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control and monitor facilities.
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety concerns.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to deter theft and vandalism.
• Ensure a safe and professional environment for clients and staff.
• Maintain concise and complete daily administrative documentation.
• Uphold uniform and grooming standards while in uniform.
• Perform other related duties as required.

This position requires a drug screening. All applicants must undergo a 10-panel drug screening before working on site.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Education:

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
• Military or LEO experience is always preferred as well

License/ Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Active Security License
