Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Guard in San Antonio, TX. The role is full-time with evening and day shifts. The guard will perform access control, patrols, and incident reporting to ensure safety at client facilities.

Qualified applicants are 18+, with basic computer and report writing skills. A background check is required and advancement opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Criminal background check required.
• Available to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Basic computer skills and report writing experience.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Access control at client sites.
• Investigate and report safety or maintenance conditions endangering clients or public safety.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and deter incidents.
• Deterrence of theft and vandalism.
• Ensure a safe and professional work environment for client personnel.
• Maintain concise and complete daily administrative documentation.
• Uphold uniform and grooming standards while in uniform.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Schedule:
  • Monday 2 pm - 10 pm + Wednesday- Friday 6 am - 2 pm
• $18.00 per hour
• Daily pay; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY!

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills and report writing experience
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary: $18.00 per hour
• 50% paid Medical/ Dental/ Vision / Accidental / and Free Life insurance for FT employees available after first 60 days.
