Job summary

Cascadia Global Security (CGS) in Dupont, WA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to join our team. You will perform access control, on-foot patrols, and report safety concerns at client sites, maintaining a safe, professional environment. The role pays $25 per hour with bi-weekly pay and benefits after the initial period.

Applicants must be 21+, have a valid driver's license and Active Guard Card, and pass a DMV background check. The contract runs through mid-October with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays.

This position requires the use of a company vehicle while on duty. All applicants must be over 21, possess a valid Driver's License, and be able to pass a Department of Motor Vehicles background check. This is a temporary contract currently running through Mid October with chances to extend.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols are assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary: $25 per hour
• Bi-Weekly pay guaranteed
