This full-time role pays $18.87 per hour with a morning shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and emphasizes customer service, professionalism, and teamwork in a school setting.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures and appropriate emergency response activities at a school district location.
• Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, observe visitor activity, and support sign-in and entry procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activity accurately; communicate information to supervisors and authorized personnel.
