Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Computer Reporting in Ashburn, VA. You will patrol and monitor a public education location, provide exceptional customer service, deter incidents, and report security concerns while upholding district protocols.

This full-time role offers a daily schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a pay rate of $18.87 per hour, and opportunities to contribute to a collaborative team focused on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check will be performed in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report hazards and policy violations to relevant personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and coordinate with administration and law enforcement as needed.
