The role is full-time with day shifts; candidates should have customer service experience, CPR preferred, and the ability to use a computer or tablet.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, parking areas, athletic facilities, grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school district policies, directing visitors and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately, and communicate relevant information with school administrators, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
