Job summary

Cardinal Point Homeland Security Group is seeking a school security officer for a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule during the school year. You will maintain a professional presence, patrol campus spaces, assist with visitor management, de-escalate conflicts, and report incidents with clarity and timeliness.

The role emphasizes reliability, accountability, and the ability to work with students, staff, and parents, ensuring safety during routine and emergent situations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Active cell phone and reliable email access.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and student-appropriate demeanor.
  • Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing.
  • Willingness to complete all required K-12 clearances and training.
  • Ability to walk up to 10,000 steps and stand for extended periods.
  • No disqualifying criminal convictions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the school.
