The Unarmed Educational / School SecurityOfficer ensures efficient and professional security operations at schoolswithin the appointed region. This position is a working level Security Officerwho actively works onsite, securing school’s buildings/properties, schoolstaff, and students, as well as locating and deterring suspicious activitieswhile providing a safe and secure learning environment for all campus personnel.The school Security Officer is held to a high standard of physical and mentalcapabilities to ensure the students, parents, and staff are protected.

• Work to ensure the assigned premises and/or peopleare kept safe and secure
• Work closely and cooperatively with staff atassigned premises to ensure they are safe and secure
• React and respond quickly to dangerous/hazardoussituations
• Monitor assigned location with high degree of attentivenessto surroundings
• Communicate effectively to site team using assignedradio
• Identify and correct inefficiencies, liabilities,and safety hazards at work sites
• Utilize the company’s current scheduling andapproving her/his weekly hours for payroll
• Provide detailed information to authorities asneeded
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/ormanagement
